Is Economic Growth a Turn-on, or a Turn-off?
We have a Growth and Innovation Advisory Board.

I am always suspicious of Government run institutions designed to make our lives better as they so often have the opposite effect. Still, they exist, so what do they think? Here is a piece illustrating their view of New Zealanders and our search for values in life and how we relate these values to the need for economic development.

They sound a bit doubtful about their own assertions when they say "If you think this sounds a bit like smoke and mirrors, look around and we see the truth of it everyday" but it is worth reading the item if only to see how our government is spending your taxes and what they produce as a result.

Is it useful? You be the judge.
