Thought for the Day

More Cullenomics:

I see that the Labour government is set to convert us into a high wage society. They are starting with the young people and passing a law that forces any employer to pay them 30% more.

If they could just extend their thinking a bit more and pass a law that raised the wages of everyone by 30% we would be a high wage society and as good as the Aussies.

We would soon be a regular little Switzerland of the South Pacific.

Yeah, right.

Robust or Rigid? The Future Labour Market

Christofer Talks about Sweden. "Obviously, I should be honest and say that I cannot imagine why so many people would want to come to Sweden. We have quite low real incomes, the highest taxes in the world and, to be honest, the weather is really pretty miserable."
